A Passion for Healing: Meet the Team

At the heart of Saint Acupuncture is Sarah Thomas, DACM, Dipl. OM., L.Ac. — a licensed acupuncturist in both Florida and Georgia, and the clinic’s owner. She earned her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the prestigious Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego.  

Dr. Sarah’s commitment to evidence-based holistic healing is reflected in her own research — studies ranging from acupuncture’s effects on recovery after ACL surgery and anxiety in teens, exploring acupuncture’s role in heart disease risk to cancer supportive therapies and recovery. 

Working alongside Sarah is massage therapist Robin Dampier, who provides a full spectrum of bodywork — from traditional massage to cranial-sacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, sound bath therapy, ionic foot baths, and more. Also on the roster (coming in monthly) is Dr. Mark Brinson, developer of the herbal remedy line “Evil Bone Water” (EBW). Mark previously owned the clinic, and though he passed ownership to Sarah, he continues to visit the practice about 3 days each month — preserving continuity and contributing his herbal pharmacy expertise.  

And then there’s the unsung but beloved member of the team — office manager Kristi Meece, whose organizational talents help run the practice smoothly, Cindy recently joined the team on Saturdays, and Maui, the fluffy French Bulldog who often greets patients. Their presence adds warmth and familiarity that keeps clients coming back.

Under Sarah’s leadership, Saint Acupuncture has expanded far beyond classical acupuncture and herbal remedies. The clinic now offers:

When Sarah took over Saint Acupuncture, the clinic was operating only about six days per month. Since then, she has expanded hours to full-time — including evenings and weekends — to better serve local residents.

Under her stewardship, Saint Acupuncture has flourished, growing its offerings and reputation. Most impressively, the clinic was recently honored with the statewide award “Best of Georgia – Acupuncture Clinic” for 2026 — a significant recognition given that nomination and voting happen across many clinics statewide. For a practice just a year and a half under her leadership, that’s a substantial achievement!

In addition to serving the general public, Saint Acupuncture also cares deeply for veterans — accepting VA insurance and offering StemWave therapy, giving local vets access to advanced regenerative therapy. This commitment underscores the clinic’s community-centered mission.
